Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners that are custom-made for each patient, providing a comfortable and virtually invisible way to achieve your ideal smile. Invisalign is an excellent option for patients who want to improve their teeth alignment without the visibility of traditional metal braces.
What to Expect with Invisalign
When you come to Pinnacle Peak Orthodontics for your free consultation, Dr. Veeranki and our friendly team will assess your orthodontic needs and determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for you. If Invisalign is the best option, we will take 3D digital scans of your teeth to create a set of aligners that fit perfectly.
Once your custom aligners arrive, we will ensure they fit comfortably. If any adjustments are needed, we will modify the aligners until they fit just right. You’ll need to wear your aligners for 20–22 hours per day, only removing them to eat, drink (other than water), and clean your teeth. Every two weeks, you’ll receive a new set of aligners, gradually shifting your teeth into the desired position.
Invisalign makes it easy to eat all your favorite foods and brush your teeth without wires or brackets getting in the way. Simply remove your aligners to eat and brush, and pop them back in when you’re done.
After your treatment, we will advise you on how to use a retainer to keep your new smile intact. Initially, you will wear your retainer consistently, and then transition to wearing it once a week to ensure your teeth remain in their new position.
